The first design museum in Italy and one of the most important of its kind in the world
«We are proud to be part of the creation and publication of the catalogues and other printed products for the Triennale Design Museum, combining textures and materials with the latest innovative printing technologies», stated Claudio Rossi, CEO of Faenza Group, reflecting on the partnership between the company from Faenza and the first design museum in Italy, one of the most important of its kind in the world.
Faenza Group, born and bred in Faenza, has offices and production facilities throughout Italy and Europe (Milan, Carpi, Treviso, London, New York, Paris and Ljubljana) and around 100 employees.
This latest prestigious partnership is another step forward for the company in the design sector, where it has already been involved in a number of important projects. This is a sector where the quality of the materials and, even more importantly, the printing are paramount because, as Rossi explains «when someone looks through a publication, it is our job to ensure they understand not only its content as they read it, but that they remember it and it has a lasting impression on them, thanks to its flawless images, the composition of the materials used to produce it (the cover, the paper used for the pages, the binding, etc.), even going as far as giving them an olfactory experience with “scented” works. Books become sophisticated design objects, on the inside and out, from the cover to each page».
The Triennale Design Museum (TDM) is located in Palazzo dell’Arte in Milan. It was founded in 2007 by the “Triennale di Milano” to enhance, preserve, illustrate and explain Italian design through objects, people, companies, historical details, concepts and ideas that have made Italy a global benchmark in industrial design. The Museum organises different exhibitions every year that explore new themes. This gives visitors the chance to discover the best of Italian design from original points of view.
